Breastfeeding Advisory Training Seminar

Accompanying breastfeeding is not just talking about latching, postures or feedings…

It is also learning to communicate with Sensitivity, Respect and Love.

Each family has its own story, its emotions, its doubts… and our role as advisors is to listen without judgment, validate their emotions and offer information from empathy.

Words also nourish, and a “you’re doing it right,” or a simple accompanying silence, can make all the difference.

Taking care of the way we communicate is taking care of the bond, trust and breastfeeding experience.

Accompanying with Love and Responsibility is also taking care of the Words and how we express them.

In the Mima’m Lactation Consultant Training we address communication tools at various times, in order to be as impeccable as possible in our accompaniment.

This third seminar of the Training has been accompanied by Alba Padró and our students have found Role Playing exercises that put into practice what they have learned to continue putting presence and awareness to our accompaniments.
