There are many Women who come to the Doula Mima’m Training without being Mothers, and almost all of them have asked themselves this question. That is why today we bring you this little reflection.

First:
Of course, you can be a Doula without being a Mother!🌟

There are as many ways to accompany as there are Doulas, and the Gaze and Disposition that a Woman who has not been a Mother has is as unique and important as the others. If you have not been a Mother, your Accompaniment will be given from a place of spontaneous neutrality since there are no experiences of your own to place and digest.

We have been cultivating Sorority as a fundamental part of our Lives for decades as Women. Sisterhood that is expressed in mutual support, in spaces of listening, support, accompaniment among us, care and appreciation of what women do day by day.

All of this resonates a lot with the type of Accompaniment that we Doulas offer, right? 🥰🙏🏻

This awareness has made more and more women approach the Figure of the Doula without being Mothers, because we cultivate a special sensitivity towards Mothers and Children, a call to the Care of Life and the Accompaniment of those who Care and Mother on the front line. ❤️‍🩹

Doula Training provides you with a fundamental theoretical basis for Accompaniment, and the spaces for practice and reflection linked to Accompaniment itself and Communication with Mothers and Families, help to refine this sensitivity that those of us who feel this call, already have. 💓
