Global Day of Action for Legal, Safe and Free Abortion

We have been fighting for decades for the recognition and implementation of basic rights for women.

Today is one of those days to make visible the road traveled, to recognize the leaders who put their bodies at the service of the Freedom of all, to recognize all of us who walk in countless demonstrations to the voice of being recognized as Masters and Sovereigns of our Bodies and our Lives.

The right to abortion is a basic right for the health of women and people with the capacity to become pregnant.

Access to this right still has a long way to go, legally and practically.

There is no turning back, we support and accompany each other, valuing and supporting each other in those moments when society judges without conscience, in those moments when we are most vulnerable, we will always have each other, because Sorority is the basis for walking towards the conquest of rights.

It is never an easy decision to make or to go through, but guaranteeing the right to abortion is also guaranteeing that for whatever reason, if you find yourself in this difficult moment, you can always do it accompanied, by Friends, Sisters and also by the appropriate, trained and respectful Health and Mental Health Professionals.

Being accompanied and supported is also your right.
