Milk Donation

Several days have been celebrated this week to commemorate various aspects of motherhood and parenting. One of these was World Breast Milk Donation Day.

Donated LM is primarily intended for premature babies, low weight babies, or babies with pathologies and/or difficulties, as well as for babies who have received intestinal treatments and surgeries since breast milk is digested better in theirsystem. Their immune system also benefits when receiving it.
