Mima’m Internal Team

Núria Alsina Punsola

My professional career began in 2003 as a teacher in different schools in Catalonia. I had the good fortune to get to know and experience different school realities, with very different methodologies, human teams, and lines of accompaniment. These experiences led me to reflect a lot about the educational world. This reflection generated in me a restlessness to know and learn more about the beginning of life and early childhood.

This led me to the world of respectful parenting, massage, reflexology, doulas, breastfeeding… and as a result of this process, in 2011 the Espai Mima’m Project was born, in order to offer support and companionship to families and children.

In 2014, many of the families with whom we shared important stages such as pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum, proposed us to create a space where they could leave their children during the first separation, so intense and complex for everyone. For this reason, we created a kindergarten to welcome as respectfully as possible, children from 0 to 3 years old. This space was our little school Petit Mima’m, where between 2015 and 2023 we accompanied the needs and emotional experiences of the children and their families.

Petit Mima’m was born in 2015, just like my Daughter, Nai, who with her birth, helped me to find the Meaning to many things, Transiting the Path of Motherhood with all its lights and shadows.

Between 2017 and 2019 we had a space of support for families and store of respectful parenting products in Mataró (Barcelona), a very beautiful store where we were able to share precious moments with many Wonderful Families.

In 2019 we started the Path as a Foster Family, which opened us to a very special sensitivity towards the babies we have cared for during these years, and towards their biological families, which has further enhanced the awareness towards family support.

Since then, the Project has been evolving, growing and reformulating itself, and in 2017, emerged as a Project of Training Professionals with our first Edition of the Doula andEarly Childhood and Parenting Companion Course. Expanding this way of companionship and support to families through more Professionals.

In 2023 I began collaborating as Pedagogical Advisor and Trainer in a Research Project with the PSITIC Research Group, the PROINFANCIA program of the Obra Social de La Caixa, and the Ministry of Inclusion of Spain, for the implementation of Maternal and Child Workshops 0-3 throughout Spain.

In 2024, with great excitement, our first book, El Viaje del Amor “The Journey of Love”, was released by Penguin Random House, Grijalbo.

Dani Garcia Bioque

I am part of Mima’m since 2014 as responsible for design and image consultant for projects, both in fairs, as in the creation of stands, family weekends and the creation of the store, Espai Mima’m Mataró.
I also manage and direct the technical aspects of sound and image in Mima’m trainings both in classroom format in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, as well as online.

I define myself as an interior designer and designer specialized in the creation and harmonization of spaces. I can offer services such as localization of possible dense energies or other vibrations in the spaces, which impede the well-being and rest, and in cases of projects and businesses, that search for that desired prosperity.

I also value the distribution of homes or businesses to optimize and harmonize the space, through different lines of Feng Shui. I detect radiological and geopathic zones as well as remodel and create new harmonious and beautiful spaces based on the needs of those who live or work there.

Combining my part as an interior designer with my part of energetic harmonization, I take care and prepare the Mima’m Spaces so that they have a Clean and Loving Energy, which invites you to feel cared for, supported and pampered.

Antonella Vitali Volpi

I have been part of Espai Mima’m for 4 years, where I trained as a Doula and Lactation Consultant. Here in Barcelona I started my journey in Maternity Support, I found a place where I could put into practice some of my core values, Caring for Life and Giving Support to the Feminine Awakening.

I started as a Tutor in the Doula and Early Childhood and Parenting Training. Currently, I accompany, together with other professionals, the Childbirth Preparation and Birth Course, as well as being part of the Organizational Team and in charge, together with Natalia, of the Communication Area.

Natalia Bolaños Treviño

Espai Mima’m has been for me like home, it is where I was trained as a Doula and Lactation Consultant.

It has been here in Spain where I have learned to accompany families with Love, Respect and Presence. Mima’m has taught me that the expression of love and care goes beyond words. That which was already inside of me and wanted to come out and has been able to find its way and expand thanks to the beautiful space I found in the trainings and later in the Mima’m Team.

I am pleased and honored to be able to accompany the Support Group for Pregnancy, Postpartum and Breastfeeding at Espai Mima’m. Every day and every week is a new learning experience for me and I thank the families for their trust. From “behind the curtain” of the project, I work in the Organization and Communication Team with a group of wonderful people.

Mamen Conte

I am Mamen Conte… Woman, daughter, sister, friend, partner and mother… I studied Humanities, probably because I have always needed to understand the human being from all possible prisms. I am also a historian and cultural manager. Tireless reader, eternal learner and lover of other cultures. I am interested in discovering and reinventing new ways of understanding and improving the world and accompanying others on this exciting path of growing towards oneself.

With motherhood I understood that there was a new way for me to facilitate the necessary paradigm shift, which was very much in line with my values and above all with what my instinct dictates, and that begins with changing the way our little ones come into the world and how they are accompanied from conception to maturity.

Coaching gave me the wings, and the tools necessary to bring to each family and each woman a new perspective, resources, strategies and the empowerment necessary to achieve a full life tailored to their dreams and enjoy the adventure of being a family to the fullest.

As a trainer and mentor, I also work alongside women and new mothers who wish to give birth to projects with soul and transform them into conscious ventures aligned with the future that our society needs.

At Mimam I am a trainer of the Entrepreneurship Module of the Growth and Supervision Program for Doulas and Maternity Companions and a tutor in the training of Doula and Companion in Early Childhood and Parenting.

My commitment, my purpose and my driving force is to work from the heart, for children, with women and for families.

Mima’m Collaborating Team

Lara Carceller Roca

Mima’m for me is a precious circle of Women that beats in Love and Consciousness. A space for growth and rooting in the feminine essence, care for life and women.

I am Lara, a Mima’m Doula and I accompany as a tutor in the Doula and Early Childhood and Parenting Training.

Lara Ybargüengoitia Benitez

From the moment Núria presented her project to me at the beginning, she transmitted me a lot of confidence. For me Mima’m, after years of walking nearby, is home, support, family.

Since I trained as a Doula in the first edition, I have felt a strong bond with the trainings and, currently, I accompany the women in their training paths and I am part of the organizational team.

Anna Llacher Alsina

Doula and Mima’m Early Childhood and Parenting Companion. PhD in Communication Sciences.

Mima'm and You

I have been able to experience (trans)formation at the same time as a woman, as a mother and as a professional and this has greatly enriched the experience.

It has been a TRULY EYE-OPENING JOURNEY. The main change that training has brought to me is the deep and complete vision of motherhood, parenting and the accompaniment of these vital processes.

I am left with subtlety, delicacy, sensitivity as fundamental ingredients to live the experience of motherhood and accompany it…

Estafanía C, Doula Mima’m Training Student

I have learned that accompanying breastfeeding is not advising but observing the woman and making her feel understood and supported, offering different options in which she can feel comfortable and she chooses the best option.

Aitana A., Mima’m Lactation Consultant Training Student

For me this year it has been a gift to do it online, I felt that this way I could dedicate energy when I have not been able to get everything on time. Knowing that even though I wasn’t live I could also share that time on a deferred basis has been very reassuring.

I.P, Alumna of the Growth and Supervision Program for Doulas

I joined the group at 20 weeks pregnant, my son is almost a year old. That group has allowed me to go through the transformation that being a mother entails with serenity. I found support to have the birth I wanted (wonderful), the immediate postpartum, a complicated start to breastfeeding, and learn a lot from the other families. I had never heard of free movement or co-sleeping, which were two great revolutions in our family. Now that I have been a mother for almost a year, I realize how difficult it is to find a space where we accompany from tenderness, without judgment, and with the needs of babies and mothers at the center.

Alicia, mom of the Family Group

Thank you to the whole team for all the sessions. We loved it. For me it has been very special to be able to share this space with my partner and for him to see from the hand of a team of professionals like you all this information that has empowered me so much and that he could also feel that first-hand. The fact that we have done it together has been gratifying and a change in how we approach this as a team.

Laia, mother of the Childbirth Preparation Course

This journey has allowed me to recognize and understand the role of a Doula from different sides, they all have in common the love for childhood, the empathy and the opened heart towards the family wishes.

The seminars as a whole have allowed me to see this figure from many perspectives and experiences that have offered me a much deeper vision of the most important aspects in relation to (pa)maternity and childhood and, above all, with the feelings that this entire vital stage of people’s lives awakens.

Marta M, Doula Mima’m Training Student

Very well, it is important to land all the feeling of the doula profession. Being able to work as well as execute a professional idea where the raw material is so emotional and vulnerable, is very enriching and necessary.

A.L, Alumna of the Growth and Supervision Program for Doulas

I have been surprised once again by the good management of the Online Training Format. Although in my case I have done it on a deferred basis, I think that the support, the presence of the tutors, the fluidity, the times and the management of the interventions is perfect and makes the online format comfortable and close.

Aitana, Mima’m Lactation Consultant Training Student

I think this group is fantastic, it is a great help for me especially living abroad and without being able to count on help around me.
You always answer immediately and give very good advice with a lot of affection and respect. It’s the best group I know and it’s worth being here for when I have questions or concerns about my baby. Thank you very much for your support!

Elena D.M, mother of the Family Group

A very complete and holistic preparation for childbirth, rigorous, updated and respectful. A warm and empowering accompaniment from sensitive, receptive and expert professionals in the field. A space for connection with the baby and with other pregnant mothers. A tribe, a support network.

Marta, mother of the Childbirth Preparation Course

After doing the Doula and Early Childhood and Parenting Companion Course I take with me the learning of flowing with what life is presenting to us. To be a little more compassionate and honest with myself. I have incorporated new and valuable learnings and ordered others that were already in me…

Mima’m Doula Training Student

Thank you for giving so much space to the practical and real, to give so much look at the fact that behind each case there are people, families, that look beyond!

Carla, Mima’m Lactation Consultant Training Student

It has been wonderful the way in which the training guides us to put ourselves in our place and to review ourselves, both when the activity suggested came from an individual case and when it was a group one.

Student of the Growth and Supervision Program for Doulas

Being part of this family support group at Mima’m represents a very warm and powerful support among equals for me. A tribe of support at a time in life where vulnerability and strength come together. A time of many personal and family transformations, where doubts, fears, intuitions and deep wisdom emerge. Having a support group where you can share experiences at this time is golden. And also always from love, affection, respect and support.

For us it is a very important space where we can embrace the difficulties that we encounter in the postpartum period in a more breathed way and with more love. It is also very nice and enriching to share experiences and support other families.
