Details and Basic Information:
For Doulas already trained in Mima’m or in other Doula Trainings who want to deepen in Counseling, entrepreneurship and case supervision. As well as women interested in training as Lactation Counselors.

- 9 modules: 2 courses in 1, in Blended Mode that you can follow at your own pace.
- 4 months, from March to June, with flexible hours.
- Course 1: Lactation Consultant + Case Study: 12 Modules (2 face-to-face and 3 online)
- Course 2: Entrepreneurship + Supervision and Personal Review + Deepening (SEP): 15 modules of recorded online content (45h).
- 4 modules (1 face-to-face and 3 online); 1 face-to-face and streaming session at the end of supervision and delivery of certificates (6h). (To be specified if they are carried out in Barcelona or in the Maresme). And 3 live online sessions of supervision and personal review with Eva Martínez, therapist trained in Gestalt and Systemic Family Therapy (6h).

General Information:
Accompanying Maternity, Fatherhood and Parenting with the greatest possible impeccability, invites us to a path of Personal Review, and to the need to be able to weave a network of Support and Supervision that is close while we accompany, in order to be able to make ourselves a mirror and return to us that Gaze of Reflection, so necessary when being close to such Transcendental Vital processes.
At the same time, having training in a subject as important as Breastfeeding, and deepening in different topics and contents related to Maternity, Paternity and Parenting Support, are a requirement to be able to keep updated and offer the best possible support.
For this reason, from Mima’m, we offer you this Specialization Course, to be able to respond to the Need that arises from the Responsibility towards our Work as Doulas and Companions of Maternity, where we can continue learning and improving our accompaniment, create spheres of meeting and nutrition within the professional collective, generating synergies to continue giving visibility to our work, and to make a path of introspection, growth, personal and professional review.
Course Format:
The Course has a blended format.
The course is divided into two courses:
- Lactation Consultant, Case Study and Role Playing.
- Entrepreneurship, Deepening Monographs, Supervision and Personal Review.
1. Lactation Consultant, Case Study and Role Playing.
Theoretical, practical and experiential course of 5 months, which encompasses some of the most important processes and aspects in relation to Breastfeeding.
The training is focused on the Accompaniment and Counseling from a Respectful Viewpoint towards the individuality and the needs of the Mom and Baby Dyad, and their immediate environment.
We include a part of case study and role playing, to delve into the communication tools to accompany in an empathetic and respectful way, focusing not only on the “what”, but also on the “how” we accompany, with the focus of our Mima’m accompaniment gaze.
2. Entrepreneurship, Deepening Monographs, Supervision and Personal Review.
In the Entrepreneurship block, we will see how to connect with our most authentic Self, in order to create conscious and sustainable Projects, capable of transforming your Life and those of the People you accompany, which bring the necessary change to the Society we inhabit.
The Monographs invite us to delve into the accompaniment from a theoretical and experiential approach. They will allow the review and recycling of the concepts already learned and also the incorporation of new perspectives and tools.
Professional Supervision and Personal Review provide a double space where we can share in relation to situations that are being accompanied, exchange experiences, raise concerns, and reflect among all of us about the Accompaniments. At the same time, it is a space in which we will address Therapeutic Work and Personal Growth, necessary to seek impeccability in our accompaniments.
The objective of this course is to have a space where we can continue learning and improving our accompaniment, where we can create spheres of encounter and nutrition within the professional collective, generating synergies to continue giving visibility to our work, and to make a path of introspection, growth and personal review.
You can choose to take Course 1 or Course 2, although the proposal from Mima’m is a conception of 2 courses in 1, to be able to delve into all the contents and training proposals.
At the end, a Certificate of Attendance and Achievement is also given for the hours and content carried out, endorsed by our Mima’m Training Center and by Protenat. And supported by the EDN (European Doulas Network).
Possibility at the end of the complete Specialization or with the Basic Doula + Entrepreneurship to access our Professional Directory.
How, When and Where?
The face-to-face modules are yet to be specified whether they will be held in Barcelona or in the Maresme.
If it is held in the Maresme, we would be in the Port Balis of St Andreu de Llavaneres (15 minutes from Mataró, 40 minutes from Barcelona by car, free parking. By public transport, you can get to the Caldes d’Estrac station and from there we tell you options for getting to the space, it is 10 minutes by car from the station).
The Online modules will be carried out from the Zoom platform.
The modules are recorded from the fifth edition, performed live, with interventions and questions that facilitate the resolution of doubts that the module itself may generate.
2 modules will be opened on the platform every fifteen days, the first will be on Monday, March 8, 2027, and will remain open throughout the Training, until the end of June.

Frequently Asked Questions
In what format is the Doula Specialization carried out?
A blended learning that you can follow at your own pace and in a flexible way. A total of 57 hours of training in 4 months of course.
Self-paced deferred modules:
The 15 content modules of the full course are recorded online (45 hours).
Face-to-face modules:
1 face-to-face meeting for final supervision.
The module that is done in person is yet to be specified whether they will be carried out in Barcelona or in the Maresme. If it is held in the Maresme, it would be in Port Balís in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, very close to Barcelona and easily accessible both by car and public transport.
Online meetings and possibility of carrying out face-to-face seminars in Online format:
We held 3 live online meetings via Zoom. And we continue to accompany you with the Team through the exclusive Whatsapp chat.
We pay special attention to the needs and accompaniment of the women who take from home those modules that are designed to be done in a face-to-face format.
For this reason, the face-to-face meetings are also broadcast Live via Zoom, and an important aspect is that the doubts and questions of the Women in this Format are transmitted via Chat to the Speakers at the time when the question time opens.
What happens if I cannot attend the Face-to-Face Modules?
We take a special look at the emotional and we also look for ways to facilitate the logistics when attending and being able to complete the Training.
For this reason, if you are unable to attend the face-to-face modules of our Training, you have the option of:
Make them live online from home, or watch the recording.
How to get to the Space where we hold the Face-to-Face Meetings?
If we do it in the Maresme (St Andreu de Llavaneres): By car, we are 35′ from Barcelona, and there is a free car park a few metres from the room and a paid one inside the Port Balís in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, just below the room.
By public transport, you can take the R1 and the station is a 15′ walk from the hall along a beautiful promenade to enjoy before arriving.
The Room and Space where we offer the Trainings for Us is a formative agent in itself. Magic is created in it, the Light, the Sea, the Openness at the same time as the Containment it offers, it is very Special. We also take care and make sure that the space is clean, harmonized and balanced.
The possibility of carrying out the face-to-face modules in Barcelona City is being considered, to be specified shortly.
We remind you that we also offer Live Online Training, so if you prefer to do the Training remotely, you can do it from your Home.
Can I go with my Baby to the Face-to-Face Modules?
Being a Training space designed and created by and for Women, taking into account the comfort of Mothers and Families has been one of our priorities when choosing the Space for the Face-to-Face Modules of the Mima’m Trainings.
In the case of performing them in the Port Balis of St Andreu de Llavaneres, the Babies who are in the exterogestation stage can be comfortably inside the room with Mom, because they are all located in chairs on the floor, it is very comfortable to be available for the needs of the Creatures.
At the same time, for older children, the environment where the training is located is ideal so that the needs for movement and exploration can easily accompany them.
The beach, boats, a park… is a precious and conciliatory space for the needs of children, where they can be with an adult companion of reference for them.
And they always have access to the room at times when they need contact with Mom, for feeding or napping, for example.
Also next to the training space, there is another room where the children can be with their companion of reference, on days when the weather may not invite to be outdoors, or to combine spaces.
If in the end the Meetings are held in Barcelona City, there are also some rooms for families within the same space, in addition to all the resource environment that being in Barcelona entails.
Who can have access to this training?
This Training is designed for Women who have finished the Doula and Companion Training in Early Childhood and Mima ́m Parenting, who have completed another of the Mima ́m Trainings previously or who have a Doula Training from another Training Center.
As well as women interested in more in-depth training in Breastfeeding Counseling.
